Occasionally, we come up with a viable patentable idea, which falls outside of our profitability criteria, or outside of our developmental focus. Simply speaking, we may not want to develop it, but at the same time, we do not want to give up neither our right to claim the authorship, nor our right to give away something of ours to anyone - or to everyone.
Yes, to everyone. There are two best ways to prevent an idea from dying: use it and grow it yourself or give it away to the world (where someone would grow it, sooner or later). Here, we chose the second one - we are giving those ideas away.

A few rules:

 • If you like the idea, feel free to use it to your own advantage - material or otherwise. Commercialize it. Make it for your friends. Enjoy it yourself. Spread it as wide and as far as your desire and imagination allows. If you need help or have questions about any of our public domain ideas you would like to use,  contact us . We cannot guarantee that we will be able to help you, but we will most certainly try.

 • Do not try to steal these ideas (for example, by claiming authorship, by patenting it etc.) - they are our gift to you just like to everyone else, and everything we place in the public domain is registered as such.

 • If you use the idea, have a decency to mention us as true authors. This is our royalty.
